The Holistic Beauty of Tallow Balms

How many ways will you benefit from using a tallow balm?

I've discussed the nourishment you can get from Tallow, and how wonderful edible skin care is, as anything we put on our skin we absorb.

Now let's look at how we apply our skincare.

My Tallow Skin Care range is made up of firmer balms; Skin Fat, Underarm Rub, Tinted Tallow, Heel Softly are all in firm bars, that will get firmer in the cooler environments (winter or air-conditioning).

Self massage, what is it good for?

Circulation!

Think of yourself like a kitchen sponge, some of you may have the abrasive green area for extra sass, but all of you are the yellow spongy bit we all know a love... the sponge responds really well to a massage, especially when you are holding the sponge under running water where each squeeze pushes out the stuff you just wiped off the bench and allows fresh fluids to be sucked in.

If you want to know more about this, I have a mini course on how your breath moves your digestive system, Functional Gut Health.

Lymphatic Loving

A big reason people seek massage therapists is for help with the lymphatic system.

A few years ago, I was listening to a podcast by a wild man, and he spoke of the joy at seeing his partner walking naked whilst they were camping, and how her breasts moved with her walk, he then explained about the effect this freedom of movement has on the lymphatic system, describing the breasts as a 'lymphatic pump'.

Over the years I have experimented with massaging my belly, and my breasts, and it taught me a lot about myself, and stopped me fearing what I felt, as it is ever changing.

Kahuna bodywork training taught me about the body within the body, and this was seen in the result of massaging my breasts.

The first morning I did that, I had many comments about how well I looked, and even I thought I was glowing! But why?

The body within the body is like reflex points in the feet, massaging them affects different organs and areas of your body.

Massaging the breasts offered the energy of improved circulation to all that resembled my breasts; kidneys, ovaries, eyes, and also adrenals.

Self awareness

The more time we spend feeling ourselves, the more we know ourselves, the more personal power we have.

The physical body is so important, and in so many ways we are taught to shut it down through conscious control.

We become numb to what this feels like, and then we come to fear feeling.

The controls create habitual or subconscious muscle tension, which restricts circulation, and causes stagnation and toxin buildup within us.

Habitual or subconscious muscle tension also restricts the breath.

Your breath...

If your breath was moving freely and fully through you, it will be pulsing all your organs and soft tissues, like the sponge analogy above.

Your lungs filling and emptying should be blissfully thoughtless and creating a beautiful internal squeeze and release that keeps your fluids circulating, and the internal environment clean and healthy for cellular reproduction.

Check our my mini breath course here if you want to get back to this way of being.
